Allí, un español intentan hacer su estadía más tranquila intentando ser de utilidad, ayudando a tomar fotos en la cárcel como un recuerdo retorcido para los Nazis. Con un corazón justiciero, Francesc Boix espera rebelar los secretos de los Nazis con sus fotografías.
In the middle of the Second World War, the prisoners of Mauthausen have to live with people with different languages, a prison for everyone ruled by the Nazis. El fotógrafo de Mauthausen, llegue a pensar que era una película americana, hasta empezar la película al ver los patrocinadores, dándome cuenta que es una película española protagonizada por Mario Casas, actor español reconocido que ya he visto bastante de su trabajo, a veces me gusta, otras veces no, a mi criterio. En este caso, el personaje de Francesc Boix esta muy bien interpretado, me gusto ver otra cara del actor que no sea el hombre fuerte que da golpes.
La historia nos muestra la desdichada vida de unos prisioneros que solo lo son por problemas políticos para aquel entonces, teniendo gente rebelde con temor a rebelarse a plena luz por miedo a recibir un disparo. Disfrute bastante la película, me gustó los escenarios, los personajes, la historia, aunque irónicamente con su nombre no tiene buena fotografía, algo en lo que siempre se destaca el entretenimiento latinoamericano o español es en el excesivo uso de los enfoques, aunque quedaría mejor un plano a lo largo siempre optan por usar acercamientos torpes en algunos casos.
Pude ver que fue nominado a 9 premios Goya de los cuales se llevo 4 de ellos, no es para menos por ser una película entretenida y con material histórico, dando a conocer una historia de la vida real que puede hacer que algunos se sientan más empáticos con los personajes y los acontecimientos. A diferencia de otras series o películas españolas que he visto, esta no me hizo molestar por el constante susurro de los personajes, tal vez porque no todos ellos eran españoles, tal vez aquí vocalizaron mejor o tenían un buen micrófono, pero es algo que a veces me desespera de las producciones españolas de que aun conociendo el idioma tengo que colocar subtítulos para entender que dicen.
La película se estreno en el 2018, esta actualmente disponible en Netflix con una duración de una hora y cincuenta minutos, al menos yo la disfrute y espero ustedes puedan disfrutarla de igual manera.

I enjoyed the film a lot, I liked the settings, the characters, the story, although ironically with its name it does not have good photography, something in which Latin American or Spanish entertainment always stands out is in the excessive use of approaches, although it would be better a long shot always choose to use awkward zooms in some cases.
I could see that it was nominated for 9 Goya awards, of which it took 4 of them, it is not for less because it is an entertaining film with historical material, revealing a real life story that can make some feel more empathetic with the characters and events. Unlike other Spanish series or movies that I have seen, this one did not bother me because of the constant whispering of the characters, perhaps because not all of them were Spanish, perhaps here they vocalized better or had a good microphone, but it is something that a Sometimes I despair of Spanish productions that even knowing the language I have to put subtitles to understand what they say.
